Welcome to the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Children's Services Procedures Manual

This manual has been created to support BCP Council with a centralised location for Children's Services policy and procedure. The Manual is constantly evolving as revisions are made to local practice to develop and align it. In some areas legacy practice from the previous Local Authorities continue to be in use and this is reflected in the title of local resources.

This Manual will be reviewed and updated every 6 months. The next update is scheduled for April 2026.
